Performing Artist – Potato Masta
Since 2003 Potato Masta has created an electronic world influenced by hip-hop and reggae. Resembling 8/bit Nintendo sounds, he has taken elements from artists such as Samiyam, Mr Dibiase and Jahatari Records. Potato Masta has travelled Eurpoe, his native Japan both as a DJ and as part of the 19-t records crew. Since relocating to Australia in 2005 he has played festivals with the Uber Lingua crew. Developing beats with broken English and Japanese MC layering the tracks Potato Masta is a distinctive musical experience.
