Alexander Steffan (DJ Butcher) is the co-founder of Born Fresh Records in Brisbane, Australia. Growing up with heavy musical influences he started producing his own work at the ripe young age of twelve. After years of grinding and numerous releases under his belt, he took on a more serious endeavour with colleague and friend Tom Horn (aka Tom Thum/Tommy Illfigga). With the dire need for music distribution and a functioning record label, the duo established Born Fresh Records (mid-2010). Starting with only two groups on the roster, it has now quickly expanded to house some of Brisbane’s premium hip-hop talent and has risen to become the biggest hip-hop label in Brisban
