Presenter Announcement: Julia Bridger

After completing five years at uni events experience by event managing the non-profit White Noise workshops held at The Edge in 2010. At around the same time, she fell in love with Brisbane 10-piece, Inland Sea, who she now manages despite her common sense telling her otherwise. She is now a band manager/publicist/event manager/A&R/tour logistics coordinator/office manager/general multi-tasker at Footstomp Music.

Held 11-12 June 2011 at The Edge in Brisbane’s South Bank precinct, UnConvention Brisbane 2011 will comprise forum discussions, workshops and networking events focussed around creating sustainable careers within the local independent music industry.

UnConvenion Brisbane is a not-for-profit, grassroots-led music conference for independent musicians, promoters, labels, entrepreneurs, writers, technologists, innovators and artists. The goal of UnConvention Brisbane is to bring together like-minded individuals to discuss the future of independent music and how it will develop and flourish in the technological age.
