Presenter Announcement – Kellie Lloyd
Perhaps best known as the bass player for Screamfeeder, Kellie has also played in the Warm Guns, the White Mansions, has recently been working on solo album number 2 and has had an equally long career as an independent film maker, having made music videos for Tumbleweed, The Meanies, The Gin Club, I Heart Hiroshima and of course Screamfeeder.
Kellie has worked as a project officer with Q Music for 4 years in which time she has undertaken a whole range of roles and tasks, such as booking Valley Fiesta in 2008, delivering hundreds of workshops in Brisbane and Regional Queensland, programming the Women in Music conference earlier this year and wrangling volunteers at BIGSOUND.
In 2010 Kellie was a panelist on the Music as Culture panel at Unconvention and was asked to come back to curate a panel in 2011 which she’s very excited to be doing and has compiled what she considers a killer panel to discuss how to keep motivated in the music industry.
