Presenter Announcement – Maggie Collins
In her time in the music industry Maggie Collins has accrued a wealth of experience that has seen her build a successful career as a national broadcaster and band manager.
Starting out as a presenter on Community Broadcaster 4ZzZ, where she presented shows for four years, Maggie landed the role of Music Director in late 2007. That same year a very promising young group called The John Steel Singers accepted her offer of management, launching an ongoing partnership that has seen the band rise to national acclaim.
In 2009 Maggie successfully applied for a job with Australian youth broadcaster Triple J, where she hosts mid-dawns along with the occasional weekend shift, and take on management duties for hot, indie, punk duo; DZ and sophistically talented, musically advanced, indie group; Skinny Jean.
The dawn of 2010 will see yet even more projects unfold with the launch of something new and exciting. Watch this space!
