Paul Curtis is a unique combination of manager, promoter, label and event producer with 20 years experience working in the music industries.
Paul currently
- Tours bands (Peaches, Ratatat, Mono, Shonen Knife, Boredoms etc) in Australia and New Zealand plus also coordinates tours to China, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and other, much more interesting, locales.
- Operates a small label (Valve), utilised more as a supplementary conduit than a serious commercial venture.
- Produces various projects including Band in a Bubble (in conjunction with Regurgitator & Channel [V]) that confused music, TV, online worlds into one translucent mess of media parody.
- Curates the Up Late programmes at GoMA in conjunction with the gallery.
- Works on visual art when time or opportunity permits.
