Presenter Announcement – Sally McPherson
Sally McPherson has practised as a music lawyer for many years, in Melbourne and on the North Coast of NSW, representing an array of high profile Australian bands and writers, as well as the Mushroom Group of Companies and Disney Music.
In addition, Sally has been the General Manager of Michael Chugg Entertainment and the Bluesfest in Byron Bay; Manager of Business and Legal Affairs in Canada for the PolyGram Group, including A&M, Island and Motown Records (now owed by Universal); a music publicist; record retail as a kid; and wrote and taught an entertainment law unit for the SCU law school; and several other roles in the music industry, that have allowed her to develop an understanding of the business side of the music industry. Currently Sally manages Dallas Frasca, as well as working as a part time university lecturer (at SCU) in Music Business and Arts Industry Studies, while maintaining a role as a partner in entertainment law at Harris & Harris Solicitors. In her spare time Sally enjoys being the mother of 7 yr old twins.......
