Presenter Announcement – Sophie Benjamin

Sophie Benjamin is a Brisbane-based writer and new-media journalist.
Her career highlights include reporting on bushfires and machete-wielding psychos for ABC Radio and managing to interview her teen idol Tori Amos without hyperventilating from excitement. Sophie is one of four residents at Digital Culture Centre The Edge, where she is working on A Faster Horse - a series of podcasts and multimedia material profiling people doing unusual jobs.Sophie has also done stints at Rave Magazine and music industry not-for-profit Starving Kids. She chronicles her rants, opinions and adventures on her blog I Am Very Busy and Important, and inflicts her taste in music on the good people of the internet via the first (and arguably most popular) all-Aussie music blog Who The Hell.
