Presenter Announcement – Stephen Green

With over thirteen years in music Stephen Green had experience in many different facets of the industry including roles as a syndicated music columnist, marketing manager, radio reporter, inflight entertainment producer, street press journalist, vocalist, music retailer, voice-over artist and event manager.

In 1999 Stephen started Australian Music Biz, a PR and marketing company whose clients included Sony BMG, EMI, Warner, Roadrunner, Rajon, Moderm Music and many more. Over the next eight years, Stephen directed publicity and marketing campaigns for the likes of The Butterfly Effect, Kate Miller-Heidke, Screaming Jets, Epicure, Tom Jones and Hanson.

In 2007, Stephen started his second company, Outbreak Marketing which dealt with internet and street marketing for clients including Disney and Sony BMG. Later that year, he sold his interests in both Australian Music Biz and Outbreak Marketing, taking on two new positions as project consultant for the rollout of D-Star's new Play MPE music delivery tool (servicing media with tracks from record companies) and as Executive Programmer of Brisbane's BIG SOUND music industry summit and showcases for Q Music in 2008 and 2009.

Since then Stephen has overseen the launch of D-Star Spins, Australia’s most accurate radio monitoring system for music and consults to a number of other music industry clients. Stephen is also board member of Brisbane music education not-for-profit Starving Kids and Q Music.
